Welcome to Hamilton County Fair

Our History

The first annual Hamilton County Fair was held Oct 4-5, 1907.

​

Hamilton County Chartered 8 different 4-H Clubs over the years.

​

• Arkansas Valley chartered in 1934

• Sandhill Boosters chartered in 1934 (Later changed the name to Prairie Boosters in 1938)

• Sandhill Shooters chartered in 1938

• Willing Workers chartered in 1941 (still an active 4-H club)

• C-4 chartered in 1949 and their last seal was in 1975

• Up & Atom was chartered in 1975

• Wide Awake was chartered in 1971 and the last seal was in 1987

• Busy Bears was chartered in 1975 (still an active 4-H club)
